Accommodation at The Sands Hotel
The Sands Hotel is the ONLY motel in the Maroubra beach area, just 20 minutes from the airport and Sydney CBD. A half hour walk along the stunning Maroubra-Coogee Coastal Walkway will get you to Coogee Beach and all it's restaurants and nightlife, and we are the only motel to service the southern suburbs of Little Bay, Long Bay and La Perouse. We have 15 immaculately maintained rooms with en-suite bathrooms, reverse cycle air conditioning and a AAA 3.5 Star Rating.
The Sands is in a peaceful location in the South Maroubra Shopping Village, above a quiet and friendly local pub. There is a separate entrance and reception, and lots of off-street parking, with a supermarket, chemist, medical centre, beauty salon and playground next door. From our doorstep it's just a short walk to the beach. There is a good bus service to the city and other destinations. Our accommodation is ideal for families, visiting relatives, or if you are attending a sporting event, working in the area, or merely passing through.
